Lilly Industries was established in 1865 in Indianapolis Indiana USA as one
of the first coating companies in the world. With manufacturing plants around
the world Lilly continued to grow until 2000 when Lilly was bought by the
multinational company Valspar and together become the sixth largest coatings
company in the world.
Currently operating in over 70 countries worldwide, 7000 employees, and with an
annual turnover in 2005 of in excess of $USD 2.7 billion, Valspar produces chemicals
and coatings suitable for all possible and conceivable purposes.
Lilly Industries (Australia) P/L is an Australian company based in Sydney.
Operating since 1996, Lilly is a wholly owned business unit of Valspar.
Lilly was the first company in the world to introduce a fabric protection
program and remains the market leader in the industry with over 40 million
programs sold.
Always innovative Lilly’s other products include protection programs for
leather, mattress, rug and others and has been the benchmark for other companies
who have tried to copy the Lilly products.
Fortunately no one can copy Lilly’s history, experience or the peace of mind
that comes with dealing with a worldwide leader in the industry.
